Andy Thompson has been committed to TOXC as a coach since 2007, but his running roots with TOXC extend far before that. Andy is a 2001 TOHS graduate and went on to run cross country and track collegiately at Loyola Marymount University.  As a former TOXC runner, Andy is passionate about continuing the tradition of excellence at TOXC.  The friendships he established with his teammates are some of his best friends to this day.  And the lessons he learned in this program of hard work, commitment to a team and belief in yourself have helped shape his life. These serve as the pillars of Andy’s coaching vision for the TOXC program.

A self-proclaimed, “XC Nerd” and student of the sport, Andy is constantly researching and evolving the optimal training plan for our student-athletes. Professionally, Andy manages his own Consulting company.  He currently lives in Thousand Oaks with his wife, Mckenzie.
